Do not like how you have to pay for parking here send the park closes at 10pm. Do miss being able to fish ftom here, but the improved parking lot and outdoor structures are great, as well as the public art.
Beautiful spot in Mukilteo. Covered tables and restrooms. Nice beach with fire pits. Sometimes festivals. Adjacent to Clinton ferry and historic lighthouse. Several food options including upscale dining, fast food and shops adjacent or within a couple of blocks.
It's a nice park right on the water. We had a company picnic here and though we reserved the gazebos a few parents still felt entitled to mooch in.
Having to pay to park is a bit of a hassle but understandable with the ferry traffic. The toys were fun enough that my daughter is looking forward to coming back again.
You have to pay for parking, which is why it's not five stars (unless you live Mukilteo, then you can get a decal from city hall so parking is free at all the parks). Traffic from the ferry doesn't affect the drive. Every Wednesday during the summer season there's a farmers market. One of the vendors is a florist with the nicest AND cheapest bouquets I've ever seen!
A great place to take kids. Lighthouse tour is free, they do like donations to help keep the lighthouse open. Playground area is nice. Parking is not free. I enjoy coming here when the weather is nice.
